Privacy Policy & Lesson Terms
What information this site collects, how it's used, and the terms that apply once a lesson is booked. Last updated 14 October 2026.
Privacy Policy
Who this covers
This policy covers thomaseaglesdriving.co.uk. Thomas Eagles, trading as Thomas Eagles Driving School, is responsible for the information collected through this site, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration reference: ZC210357). If you book through the AA Driving School profile instead, that booking is covered by the AA's own privacy policy, not this one.
What information is collected
If you use the enquiry form, get in touch by phone, WhatsApp or email, this may include: your name, postcode or area, phone number and/or email address, your driving experience, and your preferred lesson days and times. This is only ever what you choose to share when getting in touch.
Why it's collected
To reply to your enquiry, arrange lessons, and stay in touch about your bookings once they're confirmed. Nothing is collected for advertising or marketing, and your details are never sold.
How long it's kept
If you enquire but don't go ahead with lessons, your details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and are deleted after a reasonable period. If you become a pupil, your details are kept for as long as you're taking lessons, plus a short period afterwards for ordinary record-keeping, then deleted.
Who it's shared with
Your information is never sold, and it's used solely to arrange and run your driving lessons. If you use the enquiry form on this website, what you type is passed through Formspree (a US-based form service) which forwards it to my email inbox; it acts only on my behalf to deliver your message. Beyond that, your details are not shared with third parties.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated and a cookie notice added.
Your rights
You can ask to see what information is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, at any time — just get in touch by email. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Lesson Terms
Payment
Lessons are paid for in cash or by bank transfer, per lesson, at the time of the lesson unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations
Free to cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. Lessons cancelled with less notice may be charged in full, since that slot usually can't be filled at short notice — if something genuinely unexpected comes up, get in touch and we'll sort it. See the FAQ page for more.
Lateness & no-shows
If you're not ready within a short grace period of the lesson start time and haven't been in touch, the lesson is treated as a no-show under the same terms as a late cancellation, and may be charged in full. If you know you're running late, a quick message helps.
Dual-control car & your safety
Every lesson is taught in a dual-control vehicle, giving the instructor the ability to take control if needed. You remain responsible for holding a valid provisional (or full) UK driving licence for every lesson.
